eth Kneasel – Beth is the Chief Operating Officer and serves on the frontline where the action is. A graduate of Penn State University, she’s the one who does the day to day processing of the payrolls and fields most client questions. Beth has been a vital part of the payroll operation since 2010 when she returned after a 5 year hiatus for child-rearing. Now one of the co-owners of the firm, Beth is an extremely competent individual that combines the qualities of toughness and gentleness in a way that strengthens our whole enterprise. Beth and husband Jim have two children, a son and a daughter. They all enjoy Phillies baseball and Penn State football. Beth is quite involved with her children and their various activities. During leisure time she may be found at the shore, attending an athletic event, riding horse in the Pine Creek Valley or helping a friend with a need. en Shirk – Ken is the founder of the business and also a principal in Sonrise TagsAndTax LLC. In addition to his involvement with PayMaster$, Ken is an Enrolled Agent, licensed by the US Treasury department to represent clients before the IRS. His working time is taken up with tax preparation, tax consulting and oversight of Sonrise PayMaster$. Ken’s tax clients include hundreds of clergypersons from throughout the country and on 5 continents. Ken is listed in several Who’s Who directories for his expertise in church and clergy tax work. Ken and his wife Susie have 4 married sons and 10 grandchildren. In his leisure time he enjoys reading, traveling and riding bike with Susie. They enjoy riding their tandem recumbent bike, especially on week-long bike-camping tours, having logged thousands of miles in the last several years. usie Shirk – Susie is co-owner of the firm and has a general knowledge of the overall payroll operation. Although her role has diminished since moving the payroll operation to an office in downtown Lebanon, she continues to assist in various tasks, especially with quarterly and year-end reporting. Susie enjoys spending time with her grandchildren and likes to tend to her garden and plants. Like Ken, she enjoys traveling and riding bike. She and Ken enjoy visiting lighthouses and waterfalls in their travels.
